Drywall Repair for Small Holes
Quite often, holes in drywall that are less than a couple of centimetres in size only require a patch up. We’ll smooth off the rough edges, apply a filler, and sand it down after it dries. A deft coating of paint will make the imperfection disappear.
Drywall Repair For Larger Holes
There are a couple of different drywall repair processes available to us if the hole is large. We can cut out the hole to square off the edges and fit a new piece of drywall inside. We’ll fix it into place before sanding it down and painting it over. Sometimes we might use a wire mesh patch that gets the same treatment.
Drywall Panel Replacement
If the drywall is heavily damaged it’s often easier to replace the entire panel. This might be the best method of drywall repair for water damage or oversized holes. Once the panel is replaced we’ll tape, mud, and sand it down before repainting with a perfect match.
